crest.jpgFirstly, what IS a wiki?

A wiki is a site that basically holds a whole lot of information, usually from a whole lot of different users. The most famous wiki site? You already know it - Wikipedia. Sites like this provide both information and links to other sites, and can be commented on or edited by several users.

What does this wiki do?stack_books.jpg

This wiki is all about discovering what to read next. Sometimes, one of the hardest things to do is choose your next book. You know what it's like, you've just finished an awesome novel and all you want to do is read something that is equally as awesome. Problem is, nine times out of ten, the next book you choose just isn't as good, because you didn't know where to look or who to ask. Well, this wiki is all about pointing you in the right direction.

How do I use this wiki?

You can either choose a book from the genres listed on the side of the page, or explore the 'Read Alike' page. You're sure to find some suitable to read. All titles in the genre lists are available from the Nicholas Library, so come on in and borrow one today! If you feel compelled to make a comment or want to add to the wiki, use the 'discussion' tab at the top. Simply click 'join' to sign up for a username, or email Ms White (kwhite@stcatherines.net.au) for a username and password.
